Completed in late 2008, the HB Studios Sports Centre is a community based recreation facility located in the Town of Bridgewater on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. A high quality artificial grass sports field that provides a perfect surface for soccer and other sports. A 209 metre oval track that is perfect for walking and running. Daily and monthly passes available. Multi Sensory experience rooms with specialized equipment to stimulate mental activity.

Since 1993, the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore raised necessary funds to enhance and improve the quality of health care services and equipment at South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater and Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital in Lunenburg.

HeartWood Centre for Community Youth Development provides programming, training and support to help youth reach their full potential as community leaders

Bridgewater Community Gardens is a program of the Recreation Division of the Town of Bridgewater's Community Development Department. It is managed by the Community Gardens Coordinator, supported by a team of community volunteers, and overseen by the Town of Bridgewater.
