The original owner of this property beginning in 1899 was Arkanus Wile; it was first used as a boot and shoe sales location. Since then, it has served such purposes as a barber shop, a women’s clothing shop (“The Heather Shop”), a gift shop (“The Gremlin Boutique”), a floral shop (“The Floral Arrangement”), and a book store (“Carousel Bookstore”).
