Music on the Riverbank

Each Tuesday night this summer through September 17 we'll be bringing in the absolute best of local musicians to perform at Pijinuiskaq Park in historic downtown Bridgewater along the banks of the LaHave River. From folk to blues to country to rock to alternative and indie, we're looking to showcase it ALL in our community!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
-- The Town pays an honourarium for each performance. Rates are $400 per Music on the Riverbank performance, but please note that performers are required to provide their own sound equipment.

-- Performances must be at least 60 minutes in length. Each performer will be required to sign a performer agreement. Typically, the show starts at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

-- It's Nova Scotia, so weather can play a factor. If inclemenet weather is in the forecast, the performance will be moved to an indoor venue.

-- Music on the Riverbank is an all-ages show, so while we embrace free expression we ask performers to keep their shows clean and family friendly.

-- We have limited spaces for performing, so we will be booking on a first-come first-served basis. Submitting your information here is in no way a guarantee that you will be booked to perform. We receive numerous submissions each year and only have so many performance opportunities. We do, however, retain all information submitted for future events.

-- We'll be promoting each concert to our social media network of more than 12,000 people PLUS doing additional radio promotional advertising thanks to our media partners CKBW and Country 100.7.
