You can now download the Town of Bridgewater's iBridgewater app on your smartphone or tablet!

Have all the information about the Town you need at your fingertips, from the transit schedule to the latest news and events and so much more!

REMEMBER -- while the iBridgewater app is free to download, an app uses data, both when you download the app to install on your phone AND while using the app on your device. This app can be used over wifi or via LTE data through your celluar carrier. Please monitor your data usage carefully, as you should with all apps.

USER CHECKLIST
If you wish to receive important information notifications from the Town of Bridgewater, then please make sure your device is set to permit notifications from the iBridgewater app. If you do not wish to receive push notifications, this option can be disabled.

You may be asked to by the app to grant permission to access certain functions on your device. In order to maximize your use of the Town of Bridgewater app, you will be required to grant your permission.

If you wish to have your event listed under the EVENTS section, you will need to create a Facebook event for that event and list its location as the Town of Bridgewater -- our EVENTS section uses a widget that draws event information from Google to populate that page.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If you experience a blank or black screen when pushing a button in the app, it's likely because your device has not been set to allow the app to connect to your preferred browser. Many actions in the TOB app rely on the app communicating with your browser. Check your settings to ensure the app has permission to access your default browser.

REGARDING YOUR PRIVACY
The Town of Bridgewater understands the importance of your privacy. The iBridgewater app is designed as a communications tool to allow you, as a resident of Bridgewater, business owner, or visitor to our area, to access information about the Town of Bridgewater and to receive important updates from the town.

Through the app, you will have one-button access to information about a variety of town servics, and you can also expect to receive push notifications from the Town of Bridgewater through the app with important information about traffic disruptions, events, and matters of public interest. In order to enable that process the iBridgewater app will ask your permission to use the app to identify your location when in use. This information will not be used by the Town of Bridgewater for anything other than its intended purpose -- which is to enable geo-based push notifications. By downloading and accessing this app, you are indicating your consent to receive information from the Town of Bridgewater and you acknowledge that you are aware that standard data rates per your carrier will apply. Information from the Town of Bridgewater may display in app or via your default web browser.

The Town of Bridgewater will track standard information (such as how many times the app has been downloaded and which pages/links are used most often) to assess the effectiveness of the app and allow us to make improvements in the content and features. Your feedback is important!
